Meet Our Pastor and Staff
Rev. Richard A. "Dick" Broomall, an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and pastor of Grace UMC, has been in ministry for 11 years. A native of Ohio, he worked in the synthetic fibers industry in Virginia and South Carolina for 24 years before he sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta in 2001 with a Master of Divinity degree. Dick is married to Nancy, his bride of 39 years, and he has two adult sons and three grandchildren. Nancy and Dick reside in Charleston, South Carolina. Dick’s hobbies are singing and spending time with his "grands". OUR STAFF
