Women's Ministry

Grace United Methodist Women -- The United Methodist Women of Grace is an active and growing fellowship of women dedicated to Christian mission.  There are two major events sponsored by the UMW each year.  The first is the yard sale, which takes place each spring.  The second is the bake sale, done in conjunction with the United Methodist Men's BBQ in November.  The Grace UMW is also active in the Charleston District and the South Carolina Conference of United Methodist Women.  Our unit has been designated as a Five-Star Unit with the Charleston District.  The Grace United Methodist Women support many local church activities, as well as numerous mission activities in South Carolina and beyond through money and service.

There are five circles at Grace that all women are invited to visit.  We hope that new members will find a circle to join.  These circles are:

•  Anita Way Circle	Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. in homes or at the church.
•  Ann Herbert Circle	Meets the second Wednesday of the month at at 6:30 p.m. in homes or at the church.
•  Faith and Hope Circle	Meets the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the church in Room 4.
•  Love Circle	Meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in members' homes.
•  Spirit Circle	Meeting time to be determined.
