ADULT DIVISION (9:45 - 10:45 a.m.)
The Faith and Fellowship Class is for those who want to join in fellowship to explore the ways to apply Christian values to contemporary life. We discuss and study a variety of writings designed to help us understand Scripture as well as cope with the stressful situations that arise in today's world. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed.
This discussion-oriented class for all ages engages in a chapter-by-chapter in-depth study of the Bible using United Methodist curriculum. The class begins with singing followed by careful attention to a congregational prayer list. They also have periodic socials.
This class -- for those in their 40's on up -- studies the International Lesson Series Adult Bible Studies and follows an informal lecture and discussion format. An oyster roast and other socials are held during the year.
This class selects different Bible studies, including Dr. David Jeremiah's "Facing the Giants in Your Life," Twinkle and the current study of "David -- A Man after God's Own Heart." This class welcomes all ages and stages -- from young adults to senior adults.
This class focuses on discussing Christian values with practical application in today's world. Lessons include video teachings from H20, NOOMA, etc. Lessons include SMART Board and Power Point presentations.
