Grace United Methodist Church has two opportunities for employment:

Grace UMC is looking to hire a part-time, non-exempt Children's Church/Sunday School Coordinator. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of our growing Children's Ministry and the Grace UMC Church Team. Responsibilities include organizing and leading two Children's Church services; coordinating Children's Sunday School curriculum, volunteer teachers and special events; coordinating with Grace UMC Weekday School as needed.
The ideal candidate is actively committed to their Christian faith, loves working with children and their parents, and is a passionate advocate for the ministries and members at Grace UMC. Experience with teaching children is preferred. Schedule is approximately nine hours per week with four of those hours being dedicated to Sunday mornings (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).

Grace UMC seeks an adult who has a heart for caring for young children to work in our nursery area.  The purpose of our nursery is to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient Christian care to our children ages birth through 3 years.  This care will take place normally during our Sunday worship and Sunday School hours, but may include special activities and/or worship services, as needed.  The Nursery Attendant/Childcare Provider will be a primary point of contact between families with young children and Grace United Methodist Church.  The successful candidate will coordinate his/her work schedule with other nursery attendants, so that we always have two approved persons in the nursery. This will likely result in the attendant working two to four Sundays per month.
Grace United Methodist Church is an equal opportunity employer.  Applicants are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, veteran status, or disability.

If you have interest in one of these positions, please submit by email your resumes and any questions to Rev. Katie Brock at 843-766-7621, ext. 2 or
