OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Grace United Methodist Weekday School is to provide the best conditions possible to promote the growth of your child in a loving Christian environment. Each child is guided to attain their own potential-emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually; strengthen each child’s capacity to establish healthy relationships with children their own age; to find joy and satisfaction in creative work and learning; to respect themselves and others; and to encourage a greater awareness of God as our Creator.

We follow all laws and policies of South Carolina. All children must be the age of the designated class by September 1st. Our student-teacher ratios are as follows:
K1 - 12:2
K2's - 8:1
K3's - 10:1
K4's - 12:1
K1 Class: 12 months -24 months
2 Days - Tuesday, Thursday
3 Days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday
5 days - Monday through Friday
K2: 2-years-old
3 Days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday
5 days - Monday through Friday
K3: 3-years-old – MUST BE POTTY TRAINED
3 Days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday
5 days - Monday through Friday
K4: 4-years-old
5 Days - Monday through Friday
All our teachers at Grace UMC Weekday School are required to have 15 hours of Early Childhood Education training each year. Teachers and the Director are members of the South Carolina Early Childhood Association and the Southern Early Childhood Association. All teachers are certified in infant/ child CPR and First Aid.
