- Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee
- Travel to Capernaum
- Recall the sermon on the Mount of Beatitudes
- Tour Tabgha and Church of the Primacy
- Visit the Jordan River - time for remembrance of baptisms
Day 4 VALLEY OF ARMAGGEDDON
- Visit Caesarea Maritima
- Travel to Tel Megiddo
- Visit Nazareth
- Visit Cana
Day 5 DEAD SEA
- Travel to Beit Shean
- Arrive at the Dead Sea
- Relax and enjoy the spa and float in the Dead Sea
Day 6 JOURNEY TO JERUSALEM
- Tour the fortress of Masada
- Visit Ein Gedi, an oasis in the desert
- Enter the Holy City of Jerusalem
DAY 7 MT. OF OLIVES & BETHLEHEM
- Descend the Mt. of Olives
- Visit Dominus Flevit - where Christ wept
- Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane
- Visit Bethlehem - where Christ was born
Day 8 OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
- Stand atop the Temple Mount
- Pray at the Western Wall
- View the pools of Bethesda
- Walk the Via Dolorosa
- Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Day 9 QUMRAN AND JERICHO
- Visit Bethany and the tomb of Lazarus
- Travel to Qumran - the site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery
- Experience Jericho - the oldest inhabited city
Day 10 GARDEN TOMB
- Enjoy a free morning in Jerusalem
- End your journey in the Garden Tomb

Why should I go now?
If not now, when? Grace UMC is reading the Bible from cover to cover in 2023. Being on the ground where these stories took place gives an added dimension of understanding and appreciation for what we are reading.
We don't know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. If you are discerning God nudging you to go now then now is the time to go.
Should I spend this much money on a trip?
This may be more than some people spend on their annual vacation, but this is more than a normal trip. This is your opportunity to walk where the people in the Bible walked.
What if I have already been to the Holy Land?
Traveling to the Holy Land is like reading scripture. Even if we have done it before, God always reveals something new to us each time we encounter it. This trip is designed to maximize our experiences and time while in Israel. We will cover many locations and experiences to help you better understand the Christian faith.
